So what do 2 full time musicians, a Mr & MRS do while in lockdown, staying safe and at home during the COVID-19 Pandemic, knowing that they wont have any gigs for at least 6 months to who knows when? They decide to set up in their lounge room, and perform every night of every day in lockdown.
Rob Amato and Veronica Lees-Amato wanted to stay connected to the audiences that have made it possible to call music and performance their trade for over 3 decades. They wanted to support the many hospitality partners that had also found themselves with a very good reason to quickly pivot and reinvent the way they did business as they hoped to survive the worst financial challenge in recent history. Rob and V also wanted to continue to make music and entertain people for a loving, even though, it was not going to be for a living again for a long time.
There was no tip jar as Rob and V are not virtual buskers, they are professional musicians who were committed to doing what they do, with a purpose, with passion, and with friends.
Having fun, and live streaming on Veronica's facebook page from their lounge room - Lockdown Entertainment was created. Live streamed online and real time entertainment, to stay connected as we all go through this time together.
